Nishimoto Tatsuo, Ex – Managing Director, Yokohama Tyres played a stellar role in establishing the company in India. He has worked with the company for more than 38 years in various capacities.

As Secretary General – Japan Chamber of Commerce in New Delhi, his tenure was rated as one of the most effective, where in he has worked very closely to promote Japanese & Indian companies for better relationship and results.

On 27th August’15, Foreign Minister Mr. Fumio Kishida, Japan has conferred Commendations for FY 2015 to Mr. Nishimoto for his out standing work. The Foreign Minister’s Commendations are awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in international fields, to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas. The Commendations also aim to promote the understanding and support of the Japanese public towards the activities of the recipients.
