Deepak Vasdev , a ’76 graduate in Economics from Delhi University and LLB from University of Mumbai , is an entrepreneur who has been associated with the Fujitsu group of companies for 25 years- Fujitsu Component Ltd., Fujitsu Semiconductors Ltd. and Fujitsu Frontech Ltd. to spread wings in India ever since GABI Electronics Pvt. Ltd. was established by him in 1988. His close association with industry since 1986 and later as the President of the Centre for Development of Telematics (CDOT) Manufacturers and Vendors Association played the key role in strengthening Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises through the indigenization of Rural Automatic as well as Main Automatic Exchanges.

The establishment of quality component vendors’ base across the country brought about the success of not only the telecom revolution but rise of Electronics Hardware Industry as a whole. He is a Life trustee of the Forum for Strategic and Security Studies (www.fsss.in), an established Think Tank.
